Turkiye KONYA 13th Century
It is located in the neighbourhood of Şeyh Osman-ı Rumî downtown Konya.
The two-storey monument has a cubic body covered with a dome inside and a pyramidal roof rising on an octagonal drum outside. A doorway on the west side leads into the upper floor. The doorway topped with a Bursa-style arch within a cascaded rectangular frame is placed within a marble block. The monument has an interesting layout; the iwan opens north and there is a door on the west.
The square-shaped main hall is crowned with a dome rising on a high octagonal drum over a transition zone of triangles. A pointed arch of stones opens out northward.
Building materials are stone and brick. North and west façades are faced with dressed stones while the two-tiered superstructure is of brick, sheeted with lead on the outside.
Lacking an inscription, the monument is dated to the end of the thirteenth century.
