Ibni Batuta tells a meal that he eats in the palace of Ishak Bey, son of Dundar Bey, who dominates Eğridir: "... They brought a meal while we were sitting: 'serid' made of lentils (put on small plates, crushed with sugar and oil, ) Serid was first served. They open their fasting with tirit by saying "it will be auspicious". They say, "This lamb is preferred to other foods by our Prophet, saying: 'We are starting to eat in accordance with his good deeds' (Ibn Battuta Seyahatnamesi.S: 278)

I did not come across this tirid today. I tried it in various ways, I standardized the most popular. It can be eaten as a slurry, as a tirit, and be eaten with pleasure  when it is eaten with bread.
